Pleased to meet you?

"Something has happened within many of you, within most of you, where you must justify the good that comes to you through some effort. And we say, oh, we would really like it if you would get over that one, and just begin to accept that the good comes to you, and that is what is natural. But we’re very delicate when we say that to you, because the next thing you do is beat up on yourself when you don’t let the good come." ~ Abraham Hicks
"In the end, it is the person you become, not the things you have achieved, that is the most important." ~ Les Brown
Are they pleased to meet you? to have met you? to have known you? to have been in your presence?

Help

I honestly don’t know, but thanks for making me think about it. I know I will do my best.
I know that I am pleased to have met you and be in your presence, flex! Of course it isn’t because of anything you’ve done, which you know. It is nice to know though, huh? Thanks for all the joyfully provoking posts!
Flex………yes some of us just automatically think good should come and then kick and scream when it doesn't. And then others of us ……have a hard time believing that we deserve good things and that there must be some kind of a “catch to it”. Or even yet so afraid that the good thing will go away, that it is just a tease……….that it is hard to accept it. Must be a form of fear. Fear of finally receiving good things…..only for them to vanish again.
This resonates very well with me right now Flex…..
Thanks!
Heidi
namaste Flex;
I think everything depends on intent!
I truly think that if one`s intention is motivated by love then whomever one meets will have a positive outcome, and they will be happy to have met You, known You, been in Your presence….whether its`s for a moment or a lifetime.
`Good coming to one`…is rather nebulous, but it also always depends on how we interpret the good. Sometimes we have to look beyond the surface , often hidden and discover the good below. That is why I feel so strongly about being in the `now`…..and walk, experience, see, feel , be aware… for often one misses the good.
love & light,
